Enjoy light fare and a short talk by Dr. Nandini Acharya, a world-renowned brain cancer researcher from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James ). All are welcome at this event - cancer survivors, patients, caretakers, donors, researchers, doctors, and anyone who supports the goal of living in a world without brain cancer. Great Minds, formally known as Roll and Roll Over Brain Cancer, was created in 2011 by brain cancer survivor Mary Kay Fenlon, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her brain tumor surgery and cancer diagnosis. All current board members are brain cancer survivors. Rock and Roll Over Brain Cancer slowly became an organization focused on a lot more than just music! It was time for a rebrand - focusing on a broader range of events, our growing community. She joined Great Minds shortly after concluding her radiation treatment at the OSUCCC - James.
